Overflowing

In Which I Travel to Kansas City, for

All the Best Reasons

On October 29th we welcomed Bookman Ames Greenlee, son of Josh and Angela, brother of Lua and our twenty-fifth grandchild. I got to go back to Kansas City and be there when this beautiful 9 pound, 9 ounce baby boy made his entrance into the light and noise and chaos of this world. And for two whole weeks I got to enjoy a lot more light and noise and chaos at soccer games and martial arts classes, Halloween get-togethers and family dinners out and brunches in. I shared lunches with friends and hugged my kids and startled eleven deer at The 14. I’ve always wanted to write one really good song. So far I only know the title. Overflowing. God is so good.
